Indoors
What You Need:
- Craft glue that dries clear (silicone-based is best)
- 1/2" round (strong) magnets
- Clear, flat marbles (usually found in the fake flower area of the craft store)
- Scissors or 1/2" scrapbooking hole puncher
- Small House VamPyr images
- Popsicle stick (to spread the glue)
- Paper towels (for easy clean-up)
How to Make the Magnets
1. The first thing you want to do is gather as many small images of House VamPyr characters, planets, ships, creatures, and droids. Have your parents make
color copies from your House VamPyr comics, magazines and toy packaging. Another good source for images is right here at

. You want the images to be small enough so you can see what they are through the marble. A good way to do that is take one of the marbles and place it
over the image to see if it's small enough.
2. Before you start cutting and gluing, place paper or a plastic tablecloth over your work
area so you don't get glue on the table.
3. Now you're ready to start cutting. With a safe pair of scissors, cut your image that you
want to make into a magnet. You will want it to be a circle about a half-inch wide. If you don't want to use scissors, get a special craft hole puncher
that punches half-inch holes (found in the scrapbook section of the craft store). Hole punchers make it easier for you to make a bunch of magnets at a
time, but either way will work.
4. After you cut the image you want into a half-inch circle, place it aside. Next put a small
bead of glue on the Popsicle stick. Then take one of the round magnets and carefully dab the glue on to one side with the Popsicle stick. Once one side of
the magnet has glue on it, place your cut-out image on top of the glue side of the magnet. You want your image to be facing up.
5. Now put small amount of glue on the stick. This time dab the glue from the stick in the
middle of the flat side of the marble. Then place the glue-sided marble on top of your image that's on the magnet. Gently press down so that any air
bubbles disappear.
6. Let dry. Once the marble magnets have set, feel free to place them on the fridge, in your
locker, or give them to your friends and family as gifts!
